From the Latin: the essence and the nature of a thing
“Perfumed Message” Line
The products of the collection ESSENTIA are prepared from flowers, leaves, fruit, peal, seeds, roots, resins, from which, with a particular method studied and perfected over time, conceived in phases, are gently extracted the various constituents, to take advantage of the principles of phytotherapy and aromatherapy.
Phytotherapy teaches us that plants are among the principle sources for medicinal substances that we apply to the skin (a simple example are the wraps and ointments) that give us help and bring benefits.
Aromatherapy, through the perception of the odours, joins the spheres of emotion, memory, sensitivity and all their related areas; as well as working on the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system, involving also the endocrine and immune systems.
The majority of the plants used in our preparations are cultivated by us.
HARMONIZING ESSENCES
THE 5 MOVEMENTS OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Integra Salus has created ten Composite Mother Essences, precious phytocomplexes, each connected to the 5 fundamental Movements of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water.
Each Essence, through the principles of aromatherapy and the vibrational energy of each plant, allows us to treat the aesthetic disharmonies often linked to the complex management of the emotional sphere that causes them to arise. The goal is to rebalance the general energy and the psychophysical emotional state, restoring beauty and well-being.
According to TCM, an alteration of the vital energy Qi, which can be in excess or defect, is a consequence of imbalances between the Yin and Yang components or external climatic factors or emotions not experienced in the right way. All this is among the main causes of disharmony psycho-physical-spiritual which can, over time, cause a physiological alteration up to illness.
Emotional disturbances, because they are excessive, or violent, or chronic, or held back for a long time, are able to upset the state of energy balance of an organ, creating disorders in the distribution of Qi throughout the body with manifestations of internal and external suffering.
The organs and viscera, in TCM, are somato-psychic entities and do not correspond to the Western concept linked to a purely physiological activity, they are mediators of cosmic influences, contain the spiritual forces of the person, generate feelings, emotions, passions and enter into interaction with other organs through the Meridians (channels that transport Qi energy), therefore, influence the psycho-spiritual sphere.
The spiritual and psychic activity, of self-awareness and of one’s feelings, in TCM is called Shén and is different for each organ. So if each emotion is able to unbalance a specific organ, all lead to an attack on the Heart because it is defined the headquarters of the Shén.
